Sandy is a fabulous millinery teacher in every situation. I have attended several workshops at Sandy’s place. Both as a participant in a group environment and as a student in one on one tutorials. I’ve also had one on one millinery workshops with her over Zoom.
She is generous with her knowledge and so exuberant about millinery it’s an uplifting experience to be taught by her. Creative inspiration and practical know how are what I took away from each of her lessons.
Through our initial discussions she sets the creative outcomes and builds on them step by step during the tutorials. I’m a slow learner and she takes the time to explain and demonstrate techniques with precision. At the end of class I feel confident about executing techniques with finesse to create my own unique millinery pieces.
